Can you afford the nonresident fees?

Have you completed the F requirement in visual and performing arts?

Do you have an idea of what your EI score would be?

The engineering department is impacted, so you may want to read up a little on what this means.

So I live on the West coast and I think I’m eligible for the WUE grant, which I believe can be applied to CPP. I’ve also already received several scholarships and plan to apply for more.

I have completed the requirement for visual arts.

I calculated my EI score and it’s well over 4000 which makes me eligible to at least apply.

By impacted, I release because I’m not a CA state resident it’ll be tougher for me to get admission.

Industrial Engineering is not an impacted major according to the CPP website. Definitely check if IE is on the list for WUE majors that the discount can be applied.

If your GPA and Test scores are in the range listed on your post, I would say have you have a good chance for an acceptance but it all depends upon how you stack up against all the other IE applicants.

So according to Cal State's "Impacted Undergraduate Majors and Campuses, 2020-21", when you select Cal Poly Pomona, Industrial Engineering is listed as one of the impacted majors. Do you know if Cal Poly also takes extracurriculars or achievements in account?

And, luckily IE is on the list for WUE majors that the discount can be applied.

Cal states admit by Eligibility index and major only so EC’s and achievements are not a consideration. According to the CSU impacted majors website, IE is impacted but on CPP’s website it is not. I would call CPP for confirmation since impacted major require higher criteria (GPA/test scores) for applicants.
