    I got a change on my account that says:

    "The Cal Poly Admissions Office has reviewed the documents you have submitted to date and has determined that you do not yet meet the Terms and Conditions of Admission. Your final transcript/s for this term is/are now needed to determine your admission. Terms and Conditions"

    Does that mean that I just need to send my final transcript from Spring and I should be good to go or should I call admissions about this?

    @Jviking I called on Monday, they told me I just had a prereq that they needed to verify I completed in the Spring semester(Managerial Accounting). That's all, they told me to just send in my final transcripts and once it's verified I should be good to go.

    Anyone still waiting to hear back? My bf is trying to transfer in for AGB from a community college

    @bandisthelife
    Everyone I know, including people on the waitlist, have all heard back. As far as I knew I thought all the acceptances and rejections were out. :(

    @bandisthelife a friend of mine who is on the waitlist for AG bus still has waitlist on her portal as of this morning. She called admissions this morning and they said she is still under consideration and will know by July. Good luck, there's still hope. She's a transfer from Cuesta btw.

    I have a very serious question about being an international student.

    Major : mechanical engineer

    I an already admitted to the university at the moment, but I am an international student who was born 1991, and transfering for fall 2016.

    1. Is it true that it takes 3 years for transfer students to graduate or 2 and half is doable?

    2. Would I be too old to get a job in california, considering I would be 28 years old by the time I graduate? I have served 2 years in Korean army, and I spent 4 years in community college, not knowing what to do with my life. I have experience working in shipyard in korea just for about 2 months during vacation. I plan to do more internship.

    3. Is it possible to receive scholarship as an imternational student?

    I know I could do a research to find all the answers but it seems like it is the best if they are asked here. Please help! I am in a life crysis to make decisions.

    Anyone received verification yet?
  • StairsStairs Registered User Posts: 29 New Member
    @mgutierrez72 I didn't receive and official email or notification, but I did notice some things. Once my final transcripts were received by Cal Poly, that item went away in my to-do list. Also, once that happened I noticed the mycalpoly portal changed a little, like there were tabs and buttons that weren't there before. All that leads me to believe that I'm fine to start at cal poly.

    @mgutierrez72 Yep, the status on my portal says "Congratulations, you are officially admitted to Cal Poly!".

    An admissions counselor told me EC's are about 5% of the decision. They want the total number of hours you spent on extra curricular activities (not studying or going to class or just staring out the window.) In the past 12 months. They interpret "EC" broadly.
