So to make things short, I currently have a D in Woodshop and I can't even explain why I have a D in Woodshop. I have done all the assignments on time and have gotten an A on both. I asked my teacher about my grade and he said I still have a D, when I asked him how I could possibly have a D when I do the assignments, he gave me a very unclear reason. I'm not sure if he has something against me (I don't do anything outrageously disrespectful in his class) but I know it says I must pass all my coursework with a C or better.
I really don't want to be rescinded because of a D in an elective class that don't pertain to my major (Business Administration).
I have all B's and A's in my other classes this year which are:
AP English Lit
With the D in woodshop I have a GPA of below 3.0 UW. I emailed Cal Poly but I'm still freaking out about having a D on my transcript. I have never failed a class before and it's unfortunate that the D I have is in my last semester of high school and I think it will negatively affect my admission decision.
Furthermore, I have enough credits to satisfy the A-G requirements which I think is the same as the College Preparatory Coursework? My classes I've taken are below, I think I'm okay (the D doesn't affect my ability to graduate)- but second opinions would be helpful.
