    SLO target projections from 2019 show 1929 applicants with a target of 75 Freshman enrolled. BME is one of the more competitive Engineering majors with an admit rate below 15%.

    Below are some stats from 2019 and 2018 applicants and results. You can scour the decision threads but I saw no accepted applicant with an MCA below 4700 for the last 2 years.

    My MCA (if i Calculated correctly) was around a 4750.

    Daughter just waitlisted for Biomedical Engineering. 4.0 UW/4.3 W, 1460 SAT, NMF, etc... Congratulations to everyone who got in!

    Average stats for 2019 College of Engineering admits was a 4.17 Cal Poly GPA and SAT of 1469.

    BME will be a Reach due to your GPA.
