you're GPA is pretty low.. but what's your SAT's for just critical reading and math? Cal Poly doesn't look at the writing portion. Even so, I think it might be a stretch, but it's possible. Are you apply ed or rd? And is that your Cal Poly GPA? Cal Poly only looks at sophomore and junior year and gives up to 8 honors points.

Cal Poly uses 9th, 10th and 11th grade. (also grades from any a-g courses taken in middle school) Go to their web site it states it clearly on there. They also announce this policy at their visitation days.

when writing in the gpa on the app, you only include your 10th and 11th grades. later, the cal poly administration that goes through the apps, recalculates the gpa so that it'll include your 9th grades, a-g courses in middle school, and any college courses you've completed. I know for a fact they do that because I met up with my family at Cal Poly on Friday to take a tour with them because my sister plans to go there next fall. That's exactly what a man from admissions told us.
