Which way to the Beach.. and is there anyway to get there without a car? Which beaches are best for surfing?

Do the buses go anywhere near the beach? Are surfboards and bicycles allowed on buses?

Has anyone ever tried to carry a surfboard on a bicycle? (a surfboard carrier for a bike mike be a good invention for you ME majors!)

Well now that my son has moved in he has already gone surfing a few times. He was lucky to meet a couple of surfers in his dorm that have cars on campus.

The beach is 15 minutes by car. You can also get there by but which is cheap bus would take you quite a bit longer.
