UCI Regents vs UCSB CCS

I'm wondering if UCI is more prestigious than CCS @ UCSB since SB has a party school rep, and that having the Regents Scholar distinction adds to the prestige. I'd have priority class registration at both since CCS gives me priority at SB, but no Regents at SB.
Money isn't really the issue. As someone very intent on doing a ton of undergrad research, I feel like CCS is the perfect fit for me.. but I'm unsure if it is worth passing up UCI Regents. Any thoughts on how these 2 schools stack up to each other?

CCS at UCSB hands down. Your statement “I feel CCS is the perfect fit for me” says it all. UCSB has the party rep, but you will find like minded non-party students at UCSB and especially in CCS. If you want research, CCS is where you want to be.

    Best of luck.

I agree. CCS is a very unique and special opportunity. I would take it and not look back.
