I was provisionally admitted to Cal Poly Pomona, but I am afraid I will be rejected. Please help!

Hello everybody, I was provisionally admitted to Cal Poly for Fall 2017 with a major of Mech Engr. Like many college students, I work 30+ hours a week and attend school (sometimes part time or full time depending on the classes I am taking). When I filled the application, under classes planned, I put Cal 3, which is one of their transfer requirements. I was planning on taking Physics 101, calc 3, and poli sci 001, but with work, it was too much, so I dropped calc 3. I must say that I meet all the other requirements; the only thing I am missing is this class. That is why I think I have been provisionally admitted. Now, they are asking for a nonrefundable $150 fee to continue with the application. My question is will I get rejected because of this class? or if they have accepted me already can't they just make me take it as soon as I get there? should I pay that fee and then get rejected anyways?
I am including this information just because it might help with the answer: I have more than 60 transferable units. golden four are completed, and I also have a 4.0 GPA. never gotten a B in any class. Will this help at all even though I don't have calc 3 which is a transfer requirement?

provisional admission means, - provided you do X, we will admit you. It does sound like you held up your end of the bargain. You should have called CP before dropping the class. All you can do now is reach out to CP ASAP and see what they say. It may or may not kick you out but, you are MUCH better off not surprising them with your transcripts. If that class is a deal killer, they may give you the summer to complete it.

    CALL THEM NOW!
    Good luck.

I received an email with supposedly the things they need, and it said just pay the admission fee. could this be it? I mean calc3 is to get in the major. For the university, I already have the requirements.

NCalRent perhaps you can also answer this question for me. If I don't transfer this fall and wait for the next, does this situation affect at all the decision for the next fall? I know it sounds rather dumb but is just a doubt i have since in the application they do ask you if you have applied before.

Every admission cycle is a separate and fresh interaction
