Dropping Out

I have a quick question about dropping out of college.
As most people know, college is not for everyone. I always knew I didn’t want to go, but I decided to give it a chance. However, I quickly realized that I’m just not happy here. So, I was wondering if it was possible to drop out of college mid-semester. Before you say anything, I know it would have been smarter to drop out as soon as I could, but I was still hanging on to the hope that things would change. But since they haven’t, I’m stuck here, mid-second semester, struggling. If I dropped out now, what would be the situation with paying student loans and tuition?
