CSULB SPRING 2020

Hello!!! I was recently accepted for the Spring 2020 semester at CSULB. I am looking for others who have been admitted so we can share some insight. I checked my portal and saw the acceptance, however I have not received an email with any details for my next steps... Does anyone have any clue??

Hey so I went through 2 calls with CSULB.
    1. Grab your campus ID to setup your myCSULB account. (This campus ID is from the bottom of the first email you got from CSULB)
    2. Create your account
    3. Wait a couple of days and the portal will change to allow us to accept or deny our admission

Hi! Business Marketing major here. I got conditional admission and am waiting for final admission decisions to come out! Would you happen to know when they're going to release final decisions? Congrats on the acceptance btw!

@dlguswl Hello !My acceptance is conditional as well, they request documents from you in your portal... and I think what makes the acceptance conditional is if all your documents match up to what you submitted on your supplemental. I went to my portal yesterday and it said "no to-dos" so I take that as, they received and approved all my documents. I am sure if you submit your documents and things don't add up to your supplemental they can retract your admission, I am positive that is what they mean my conditional. Were you an ADT? I think that is what they look for on your transcript, since it plays a big part in being accepted.

@xrhiannonx hey! So I checked my portal and it just says that they need to receive my AP scores but they received my official transcript. The only thing I'm concerned about is I accidentally wrote the wrong degree on my csu application and CSULB didn't consider my degree in the admissions decision. My official transcript confirms that I have an ADT though but I never submitted a supplemental application for ADT because they didn't consider it. Hopefully this won't be a reason for them to rescind my conditional admission offer right?!

@dlguswl I'm sure you'll be fine as long as you did complete it... Do you mean you applied as one major, and really majored in another?? That may be an issues but if you are worried about not claiming the ADT, and really having an ADT I'm sure you will be fine... If anything good on you because having an ADT gives you an extra .1 GPA boost, which helps acceptance so if you got accepted without that boost thats awesome! Maybe email them and ask?? I have emailed them with discrepancies before and they always reply back within 2-3 days!

@xrhiannonx I received an AS-T Business Administration degree but accidentally wrote AA-T Marketing, (stupid, I know) I should've double checked on that. This automatically disqualified my ADT in the admission decision and I was admitted without it. I emailed them explaining the situation and asking if it'll be a problem and the response I got was, "We will determine your admission status after we receive all requested official documents and scores." I'm hoping they can ignore that and just confirm the degree I received through my official transcript.
