Concerns about CSUN

Hey everyone,

Just want to state that I am concerned about how CSU Northridge claim to not have received my recent electronic official transcript. They told me that they only see the one from November, but not the one I sent 2 weeks ago. I checked everything on Parchment Exchange (which I have used before successfully). Parchment Exchange confirmed that CSU Northridge have downloaded and received it. I emailed them as well to make sure. The one I sent recently is a preliminary transcript with completed fall grades and current spring progress. I hope they get it in time to take my academic overall in consideration to either accept or deny me. I am a tier 2 transfer student, going for Art/animation and will transfer for Fall 2016.

    Official is a bad word on their part when they say official they mean final once all classes you are supposed to take before transferring have been turned in with grades at least it is my understanding

    Actually, "official preliminary" transcript is also considered. For all classes completed would be "official final" transcript, that is what I find from CSUN portal.

    you should call them better at admissions, they do not update your portal as much as they should. You will find out more info if you call

    I have called them today, and they said the same thing. I am not going to stop here, so I will keep calling them tomorrow and the following days.
