To become a dermatologist, you have to complete a bachelor's degree (4 years) as well as the pre-med courses, complete a MD degree (4 years), and a dermatology residency (about 4 years). Currently dermatology is a very competitive field, so you'll need top grades/exam scores, and recommendations to get into the residency. Some people have called it the "lifestyle friendly" field of medicine (which is why it's so hard to get a residency).

You can Google the average salary.
