SAT Scores Not Shown

determined2300determined2300 Registered User Posts: 408 Member
I had sent my SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject Test Scores to CMU on October 29th

I submitted my CommonApp on 28th Dec.

I sent all my SAT Scores AGAIN on Jan 12th.

Still, the portal shows scores not received. I have received an incomplete app email. I have written twice to the university but all they said was WAIT!

What do I do? It's been more than three MONTHS since I first sent my scores. I am worried they might discard my application or might look at me like an irresponsible applicant.

Have you tried calling the admissions office? That is probably the fastest way to get an answer.

I feel it would be quite rude to pester them again and again even after they told me to wait.

Has anyone else faced such a problem with CMU? What did you do?

Yeah I have. I mean sort of. I'm an international student but I have first language proficiency in English and I went to an English medium school so most schools automatically waive my TOEFL requirement. But I just checked my Where Am I In The Process page and I noticed CMU hasnt. I guess it was stupid of me to assume they would but I just sent them an email asking to waive the requirement. And I sent in my TOEFL score, just in case.

But I honestly feel like I've jeopardised my chances of getting in. Don't worry about the SAT subject tests though. I sent mine in December and they were just "processed" 4 days ago.
