Does any one know if you have a better chance for merit aid if you apply EA versus PPSp? Do they give merit aid to PPsp students (non-need)?

I'm a rising undergrad jr in ppsp-med. I didn't quite have my application together by the EA deadline so I turned it in by the PPSP deadline and still received a presidential scholarship, my SAT's on the old scale were slightly below 1500 so I don't think I would have done any better even if I had turned my application in sooner. I never submitted FAFSA since I knew we wouldn't qualify (family owned business) so my award was purely merit based. Hope that helps.

you won't hear from the program until quite a bit later... you will hear from the undergraduate admission first... if you do make it to interview consideration this program does require an interview in order to make it into the program... the interviews last year were around early april... hope this helps

What kinds of questions were asked at the PPSP (medical) interview last year?

Seattlechica- did you hear about your merit scholarship with your offer of admission or afterward?

gracello - with my letter of admission, in the mail, there's typically no mention of merit scholarships online, the offer comes via snail mail

the questions asked at the interview will vary from each interviewer- be prepared to answer the standards questions like why medicine but also be prepared to talk about your interests and hobbies and basically what kind of person you are
