Does anyone have any opinions on the school?

Son is an undecided major, with (what I think are) high SATs, 1870 overall.
Grades are ok - not honor roll though.

Is CCSU becoming a more competitive school - are the courses there challenging?

When my son was going to college 3 years ago, they had an honors program that if you had a 1200 or above, you could get 1/2 or full tuiton, based on your grades. I don't know if that is the same now. I have known a few students there, "challenging" is a hard term, some thought so, some didn't. The first year for both was the easiest. Getting involved and taking more challenging classes helped and taking advantage of any opportunities offered in their major.
I've been told, after UConn, Central is the best state school and that is reflected in the rankings too if I remember correctly.
