[Supplement Essay] 900 words - too much?

Hi CC users, I am an ED applicant for CMC Class of 2016.
Like many other ED applicants are feeling about, CMC is my perfect school that I dream of.

Anyway, I worked on my supp. essay of advising leader (no word limit) for while and finished it today.

So my essay is about 900 words right now.
It just barely fits into 2 page with 1.5 spaced with Times New Roman - 12.
I will cut it down to about 800 words but Im just worried if its still too long.

Are there any current CMC student who might have written at similar/more # of words?
If someone could give me some clear answer, that should be really really helpful.
