Any other Presidential Scholars planning to attend the P.S. Open House and the overnight ? It sounds like a great program. Are there any current Presidential Scholars that could comment ? Really looking forward to seeing all aspects of the program and meeting the professors and students.

I got an email about it too! I don't think I can attend though.. Costs of flying to Maine and back for a day or two are probably not worth it.

I was thinking that too when I got the e-mail about it but then in the acceptance letter they say they will pay for our transportation costs! I'm thinking it might be worth it now.

@student0126‌ I didn't even realize they said that until I got a follow-up email today.. Thinking of going even though I'm also going to Bowdoin's admitted students days later that same week.

I know this is an old post, but I have a question. Do the privileges enjoyed by Presidential Scholars extend beyond freshman year? Do PS still have research opportunities and are they still entitled to the PS research grant?
