    A couple of the other Patriot League schools also offer EDII.

    Where are you getting the statistic that Amherst's ED acceptance rate is 40% or even almost 40%? From the school's web site and other research I saw the % of ED at about 27 to 33%.

    I think it was in the 2005 Yale Daily News "Insider's Guide" to the colleges that I saw it listed as 42%. But I guess that number is probably outdated and not as accurate anything Amherst lists on its Website.

    Edit:
    I just looked it up the class of2009 data on Collegeboard and it states that 127/364 ED applicants were accepted (35%).
