Do any of you know anything about the waitlist at Colgate? such as, what percent of kids on the waiting list actually get accepted in May? I was waitlisted mid-January for ED2 and was just wondering if i stand a chance. Thx

It varies year by year. What I will say is when it comes to waitlist finance matters. It's not just Colgate, it's the case for most schools. Full pay students will have much better chance of getting off the waitlist once the list is open. My suggestion would be for you to continue to do well the second semester, let Colgate know you are still very interested, update Colgate if you get any additional awards, and maybe get updated recommendation letter from your GC or teacher. People do get off the waitlist, but you need to be pro-active about it.
