Recommendation from a boss?

I am applying to a bunch of schools Early Action, and I am wondering if it would be worth it to get a recommendation from my intern coordinator at the campaign I worked at over the summer. He would write me a good one, but how would I send it in? There is no outside recommendation option for CommonApp, so what should I do?

If there is no space, don't use him just yet. Save his recommendation for any scholarship applications where it would be more effective, and for future work/internship applications.

When my son (who is a college freshman now) applied last year, he just gave addressed, stamped envelopes to his letter writer and asked him to write a letter and mail it in directly to each college. make sure your name and either Social Security # or address & date of birth appear in the upper right corner of every page. The colleges will get it into your file.
