As many as you can handle.

15, minimum. If your school doesn't offer them, too bad. You're screwed.

Actually, what spydimag said. Don't do the whole "Let's take `234124 APs so it'll look good to colleges!!" thing. Take the ones that you're interested in, and take about as many as the best students at your school do. Remember, they see your schedule and consider it against what is offered at your school. As long as you take advantage of what you have, you'll be fine.

Hello. I am currently going into my junior year. Last year, i took ap european history and got a 4. This year, i plan to take ap psychology, ap economics, ap pre-calc ab, and my launguage class can get me credits depending on my test score. Next year i plan to take ap physics, mandarin, ap government, and possible one more (depending on what my school offers). Is this enough to get me into an ivy league school?

@collegegirl98‌ nothing is set in stone when applying to an ivy league, those courses are good and the thing is these colleges just want to see that you put urself through the rigger in highschool. The thing is, Ivy's dont care just about ur classes/gpa/scores they care about you as an individual and how unique you are(EC's). On top of that, essays are huge. Just try to be well rounded at everything while giving them something different that will make them want you in their school to maximize your chances at acceptance to an Ivy
