Well, is it? I got in, lol, but I wasn't planning on getting in without the med program, but now I'm considering it....anyone have any good tips about the school or something?

I don't know a whole lot about it, but I think it's a good school. I know a couple kids applying there. It seems like a happy, up beat place. Congratulations on being accepted!

My daughter has a friend who goes there. Her friend was at first disappointed that she didn't get into any of her three top schools. But she made it into the Honor program at Penn State and has ended up very happy with it.

I can't really tell you more than that. Oh, you are probably required to be a football fan!

Penn STate is a very strong public university with some highly regarded programs. Penn State and Michigan have the most alumni in the US.

Penn State is quite large and is in a self contained college town/campus in central PA. PSU has been consistently ranked in the 40s by US News for quite some time.

With more then 40,000 students, I would say more then a few people know about PSU. Quite a few kids from my son's HS go there. Lots of different things to do, school spirit is unmatched, the town is a college town. If you like big schools, there's nothing like Penn State.

It's a great state school and well respected. Most people seem to love it though I know a few who don't (however they are the ones who weren't thorough in their college admissions process). Amazing school spirit, ridiculous number of alumni, and a nice campus. Its a cool place.
