Sending Official Transcripts Clarification

When a private school tells you to arrange to have your transcripts sent by your counselors, do they mean the School Report?

Does the School Report that a counselor submits with his or her recommendation include a transcript? I've been getting different answers. Clarification would help! Thanks!

"School Report" section includes your academic background information and an evaluation both completed by your counselor. Your official transcript should be attached with this report.

It depends. My school uses parchment in which the transcript is put on the website by our registrar and then we can send it to as may colleges as we like for the lovely fee of $10. Some schools prefer that your counselor attaches an official transcript to your school report. Other schools may also use other delivery methods. Sendedu is another commonly used site or just sending the transcript individually by mail. I recommend contacting your counselor to confirm that he or she sent your transcript with the school report.
