Have any of you gotten into schools that require 2 years of foreign language by taking 1 semester of community college language? Which schools?

Generally speaking, one year of college level language is equivalent to two years of HS language. Re read what the colleges on your list state about their admissions REQUIREMENTS as opposed to RECOMMENDATIONS. Some do not specifically require foreign language at all. If the policies aren't clear, pick up the phone and call them.
