Writing a letter for reconsideration?

Hello. I was recently accepted to Rutgers for their School of Arts and Sciences, and School of Environmental and Biological Sciences but was denied for the College of Nursing. I was wondering if it was possible for me to be reconsidered if I provided an appeal letter, and my first semester grades of my senior year which I had all A's except a B+ in AP Lit. If they did accept it, do you think they'll change my admittance decision?
