I've been accepted to UCSD, my dream school, and there's a very high chance I'll get a D in ChemAP. Am I screwed? I'll consult with the admissions officer monday via phone about it... but what do you think they'll say? Anyone have experience w/ this? Perhaps I can retake the class during summer at a community college?

I think you just have to explain it. Chem AP is a hard class, and I know a girl in class of 05 who still ended up going to UCLA even with a D in Calc AB first semester (and a C second semester).
