GPA requirements & Potential Schools

Hello everyone,

I have a 3.0 and I will be transferring for mechanical engineering next fall. There isn't much of a chance that I can raise my gpa much more than to a 3.1. Does anyone have any suggestions for schools that I would have a chance of getting in to? I am willing to look at colleges anywhere in the US, but would particularly appreciate suggestions for colleges within California.

Thank you!
