Test-Optional LACs

So I got around 2120 on my sat awhile back and I don't feel like re-taking it. Some lacs are test-optional; however, some of the colleges have an average is like 60-100 points higher than mine. Would it harm my application if I submitted it? I know Bates stated don't submit your sat if it's lower than the average. Would the same go with the others?

Yes, don't submit scores if you are that much below the school's average.

Accepted literally, Bates would, through iteration, soon report -- or already have reported -- perfect or near perfect SAT scores (provided they don't gather and report scores for "non-submitting" students).
