Am I an urm?

At school my friends and I were talking about colleges and we came on to the topics of hooks. And most of them agreed that I might be a urm since I am a muslim, but when I reminded them that I am pakistani (asian), I am prob not urm. then it got confusing and I couldn't find any data. if any one knows if being a pakistani muslim counts as a urm please lmk

In terms of colleges' definition of URM for admission, religion is not considered. Nor is sexual orientation, for that matter.

Pakistani and all other South Asians would be considered overrepresented minorities.

^^This is correct, except that it depends on the school. Some do not have a lot of Asian students and are interested in diversity. But for your ethnicity to be of any benefit, you'd need to want to go to one of those schools (and these are often in very white parts of the country away from major metropolitan areas).
