Freshman year

Hi there. How much does freshman year really matter? I took two honors classes that year, and my school runs on trimesters. Per year, we have 15 classes, and 3 of them I received B+'s in. How much will this effect me if I got A's and A-'s for the rest of the years to apply to schools such as UMICH or Miami of Ohio?

UMich now countsn freshmen grades. But by the time you apply, you will have 45-50 credits. So that 3 classes won't hurt you if you get straight A from now on. Also, the GPA would be in the context of your school.
