Mid-Year Report

brkbaebrkbae Registered User Posts: 4 New Member
Hey just wondering if our mid-year report has a any effect on our chances of getting admitted to college. I had a gpa of 3.6 by the beginning of senior year, but during my first semester of senior year I was able to maintain a 4.1. I was wondering if that would help and show that I was able to achieve a steady rise in my gpa since freshman year and somehow help my chances? Thank you!

From my understanding, mid-year reports are to ensure that your grades have not fallen (aka no senior sliding) since submitting your application. I think that the overall increase in GPA will definitely work in your favor, but I don't believe that the increase in senior year will be factored in AS much
