    I don't see the value of visiting colleges in the summer, except, perhaps, large universities with a lot of students and professors remaining on campus. My daughter will be targeting liberal arts colleges and the student "vibe" will be all-important. Except to look at facilities and the surrounding community to rule out schools that are unacceptable, the usefulness of summer visits seems limited, at best. Any colleges of interest would have to be visited again during the school year.
