Should I send these scores?

I scored 1540 on the SAT (R&W: 750, M: 790), but I only got 5/5/6 on the essay. However, I read that essay scores don't matter that much and since my score on the essay is average/slightly above average i think it's okay.
The real problem are the SAT Subject Tests: 650 (53rd percentile) on Literature and 720 (73rd percentile) on US history. I must have had a bad day since I was usually way better in practice, but there won't be other Subject Tests in my country so I have to live with the scores.
Now I wonder whether I should send the Subject Test Scores if I want to apply to highly selective schools. After all, at least I tried (isn't that better than not sending anything?) and scored in the higher half. Besides, as an international student, I had to learn everything by myself, so that might be considered?
I really don't know what do with these scores. Please let me now if you have any advise. Unfortunately, I have no guidance counselor I could ask for help.

Send your 1540. I don’t think any college right now cares about the essay and if they do, it’s a minor consideration. The essay score isn’t bad anyway.

If you are applying to very selective schools, I’d only send the 720, or neither.

Thank you! Don't you think it will look as if I want something to hide if I only send the 720?

No. Most colleges are test optional now anyway. They aren’t going to think “hmmm, she only sent one subject score. What’s she hiding?” They don’t have time for that.
