Bad idea? (essay related)

I submitted an essay with Common App that I wrote back in Oct. So far, I've sent that to all of the colleges I applied to. However, I recently wrote another essay, with a totally different topic, for a school that doesn't use common app, and I'm thinking colleges will probably like it better than the one I sent them. Is it possible to email all those colleges with a deadline tomorrow and tell them I have a better essay for them?
Would they get bad ideas about me?
What's the worst that could happen?
