Out of State - any breaks in price?

DS is considring. Does C of C have any out of state "breaks" in tuition/costs as some other SC universities have? Paying out of state (as you know) is almost double the in-state tuition. ugh!

Anyone know any tricks/information they'd like to share? Or are we stuck at full-price?

We're from New Jersey. My son was accepted at C of C. He's in the top 15% of his class, in the National Honor Society, SATs-1650 and haven't received any scholarship.
