LA sues over 'Grand Theft' game

The city of Los Angeles has sued Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. for selling pornographic video games to children with its best-selling game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," which last year was found to have hidden sex scenes.
What do you think abou this? Should LA mind its own business or should every other city in California join in the hunt?

I think the city itself doesn't have the right to sue. If the whole state sued or the U.S. goverment sued, then that would be a different story. But seeing as to how what they're suing for pails in respect to everything else going on in the world. If the city wants to put itself through a useless exersize as this, let them go ahead.

    Sorry....I didn't read the article :o.

There are far worse things happening in the city of Los Angeles. What a farce!

After playing GTA, I'm never going to LA again. Or Russia after playing James Bond and Metal Gear Solid games. Russians are all bad people that try to start WW3. Call of Duty has shown me how terrible all Germans are. Additionally, when you go to the Great Wall of China in Tomb Raider 2, there are tigers and even T-Rexes!!! Dangerous place. Let's drop China too.

Why wouldn't they sue over "True Crime: Streets of LA" a title of a video game, THAT ACTUALLY IS NAMED AFTER LOS ANGELES! Only one part of GTA: SA is based on LA anyways, you don't see San Fran or Vegas complaining.

Well, the stupid Hot Coffee mod was found around summer 05 I think, L.A is a bit slow, they finally realized that the mod existed? What idiots.

Isn't it rated M, though? So technically, kids shouldn't be able to buy (although we know they do, everyone has that game!) So it should be the stores fault, right?
