Taking summer classes at a CC before freshmen year?

lifeboundcatlifeboundcat Registered User Posts: 1 New Member
I'm currently a high school senior interested in taking some CC classes over the summer before college starts. Would it be worth it? Has anyone done this? How do I go about enrolling for this? Thank you!

1 start with the college you arr attending. Make sure that they don't prohibit taking transient classes between highschool and college. Don't skip this as for some schools taking a class would flip you to a transfer student and jepordize your scholarship.

    2. You will also need to validate that the class will transfer there is probable a request for transfer credit evaluation and your future college.

You'll want to do both these things ASAP.

3 you will need to apply to the CC as a student at large. They will probable need your imunization records and transcripts.

3 you will probable have some kind of advising hold after you get accepted. After acceptance call the admissions office and ask them about next steps to get registered.

4 worry about your grade. Even transfer grades count foe things like satisfactory academic progress and graduate school. Summer classes are fast paced and can be challenging.
