    haha,quite funny.

I personally believe that she is unable to answer the question because she was so nervous and she prepared some material about education and south africa.

So our education system should help South Africa and Asian countries to build up our future so that all of us will have maps and be able to locate our own country in the world map...

    I couldn't understand that.

yeah, that was horrible. but i feel kind of bad for her. it would be hard to answer a question in front of everyone. and none of them did that good, except for the girl that won. and she wasnt even that great.

I'm still struggling to understand why she didn't mention World Peace. I mean, come on.

This just shows you how America is getting more and more stupid.

because it's a stupid question? "why is it that 1/5 of americans cannot localte..." why don't you geniuses answer it?

oh, and do it while you are on national TV, without thinking, and in 60 seconds

She didn't looked too nervous while dancing in a swimming suit before the cameras. It's really not that hard to say that teens and their parents don't pay enough attention to education.

Stan Fields: What is the one most important thing our society needs?
Gracie Hart: That would be... harsher punishment for parole violators, Stan.
    [crowd is silent]
    Gracie Hart: And world peace!

Sounded like she used bits of her other prepared answers and threw in the word "maps" for good measure.

I don't blame her. I think shes just one of those people that aren't fams of answering questions on the spot. I'ms ometimes like that. I jumble my words when I'm publicly speaking.

Note:: Notice how the lady is clapping at the end as if the girl is a child. *How Sad*

did you guys also read the stupid comment people wrote under the video itself....The spectators are just as dumb

Did you see Mario's face while he was holding the mike? haha

And I agree, it was a stupid question. I think the asker meant 1/5 can't locate Iraq, or something to that effect. But still, why not simply say education isn't a priority to many people? Oh, wait, irony...
