How much do colleges care about leadership in essays if it is one of my only strong qualities?

I am currently in multiple leadership positions including an organization, club, and the captain of the lacrosse team. However I have already started my essays and can't find many other qualities about myself other than being able to look out for others and build them up as a leader. I have never really commited to anything else but leadership. I am an average student with a 3.53 unweighted gpa and 35 act.

You don’t need to write about leadership. The goal of the essay is to help the AO learn something about you apart from your grades and classes. They will see from the act invites section what leadership skills are.

Who are you? Do you define yourself by leadership? Or are you a budding green thumb who loves Chinese food? They want to read your essay and think “I like this student. Admit.”
