For my college (Slippery Rock University, or SRU) (Thoughts/opinions from SRU students):
1. The weather aspect: Pennsylvania weather, that's as much as you need to know.
2. Parking @ SRU: There's enough parking, but it all depends on how many students bring their car up to college. Sometimes, you have to park far away and walk to your classes, and other times, you just have to wait for an open spot.
3. Food/Water: The quality of the water in the town isn't the best. But, our fountains have filter systems, so that solves the problem. For the food, it's either hit or miss. Some days it's great, and other days, it's okay/so-so, but still edible. (This only applies for our main dining hall).
In between: The small town aspect: Now, there's nothing wrong with going to college in a small town, but some people say that we only have a bowling alley, 1 bar/pub, and a couple of nice restaurants. So, what's left to do on the weekends?
The answer is Partying, but I won't get into that again...
Pros: The pros are similar to other colleges: good professors, many clubs/organizations, a diverse and nice looking campus, etc.
So, what about your college?
