A Challenge or Lower GPA? Transferring

Hey guys! After 2 years of being a below average student, (I'm talking 0.5-2.3 GPA), I decided to back away from University due to depression. I took a semester off and really just reevaluated everything/entered therapy. This is my first semester in community college and I have a 3.0! I know it seems low for most, but it really feels great going from a literal 0.5 to 3.0 after a one semester break period. Now, I'm looking to transfer into one of my dream schools. I established a first ever vegan club at my community college, volunteer at a food pantry (since the age of 10), volunteer as a youth mentor, and have perplexing letters of recommendation.

These are my classes:

Anthropology 3 Credits: B
Philosophy 3 credits: A
Psychology 3 credits: A
Medical Terminology: B
Biology 5 credits: C

Should I drop my Biology Course to save my GPA? Or keep the class as a challenge and put my all into it? I'm nervous that the University I'm applying to will turn me away for my current midterm GPA, (3.0). I know if I drop this course I could potentially get up to a 3.7

Thanks for reading!

You will still need to submit a transcript of your first two years that you completed at your first college that you attended. The college you plan to transfer to will take into account all completed courses when calculating your gpa. Your gpa is 3.0 for the semester but that is not your cumulative gpa. It will be much lower taking into account your past classes.

My current GPA is at a new intuition, (community college), so it's not apart of my uni cumulative GPA.

You need to submit transcripts from all schools you've attended.

Yes, I know. Should I drop my bio class for this semester? Or keep it?
