Biomedical engineering without taking AP Bio?

For a while, I have known a wanted to do something math or STEM related. I am considering Biomedical Engineering becuase it looked very interesting based on the research I did. I have not taken a biology class since freshman year however. I didn’t have room in my schedule to take AP Bio this year. I took both AP Physics One and Two my junior year and I am currently taking AP Calc BC so I have a solid background in math and Physics but even so, will it still be hard to go into Biomedical Engineering without having AP Bio?
