canadian chinese applicant to UC's

i'm looking at UCLA and Berkeley right now. does anyone know the chances? % international applicants admitted?

does athletic recruitment change anything?

    Hello! The acutal acceptance rate for internationals is roughly 21%. I'm from the Toronto area... Where are you from?

    i'm from Calgary. i'm in New Hampshire right now though, i'm doing a post-graduate year at Exeter.

    I'm really considering UCLA and UCB but I've just heard so much about the low out of state international student acceptance rate.

    I've heard that Stanford was the fall back school for an out of state applicant at Berkeley.

    Do out of state recruits have any advantage?
