I'm just really looking for schools that aren't super selective, like more than 40%, also a pretty liberal school and a diverse student body. And midsize?

If you want help here, you need to provide a lot more information: grades, test scores, class rank, future major/professional interest, financial constraints, geographic preferences, etc...
