Publishing or Communications?

I want to do something in the online publishing community, like Buzzfeed or professional blogs. I decided communications would be the best degree for me to do that. I have a full ride at University of Tennessee-Knoxville through their Pledge scholarship, and they have a pretty good communications program. However, Belmont University is one of the few schools with a publishing degree, and most likely better connections since it's in Nashville. I would get a good amount of scholarships for Belmont but I know I would still have debt. Which would be the smarter choice?
