UT Austin CAP vs University of Minnesota

I am currently a resident of Texas and have gotten into UMN and granted a 40,000 scholarship(10,000per year). I only got accepted into the CAP program at UT Austin (go to another college freshmen year -like ut Arlington- and Austin the rest). With the scholarship both are about equivalent in cost. I'm planing on double majoring in Psychology and neuroscience and unsure which is best! I'm scared about missing out on college experiences if I chose Austin, and would love people's opinions on which is a better college/choice.
Thanks so much!!!

If you're CAP'd I'm not sure you could major in Neuroscience - I think Cap'd students can only pick Liberal Arts majors, and Neuroscience is in Natural Science, so check it'd even be a possibility.
Did you get the major you wanted at UMN?
Where are you from? The weather would be very different.
