@MYOS1634 Getting to and from MOunt Allison seems like an expensive headache, after doing some checking around.

And I'm curious how kids travel from St. Louis to Truman State. The plane part is easy but the college is still very far.

Does Arcadia have the program she wants? I've known smart kids who really developed confidence there and really bloomed. (Ones with concerns like your daughter. )

Mount Allison is actually pretty easy to get to - very good public transportation helps. You get to Mount Allison by taking a plane to Halifax then Halifax-Sackville is 3 hours by train (~$35). But the easiest way is to fly straight into Moncton then take the bus to Sackville (45mn, ~$12). If you live in New England or major East Coast city it's very doable.
Getting to Kirksville is a bit more complicated: fly to St Louis then from St Louis to Kirksville (the college indicates daily flights on Cape Air) or take Armtrak to a nearby town (Laplata) from which there are shuttles to the college.
What about Chatham College in Pittsburgh? Augsburgh or St Kate's in Minneapolis St Paul?
