(The title of this forum might look messed up because the site is acting up and not letting me view the whole title as a type, plus, I couldn’t think of a better forum category to put this on). So I’m currently a junior in a not-so-great college. I’m a business marketing major and business data analytics minor. I didn’t study at all in high school or freshman year of college. My grades before the pandemic weren’t bad, but they weren’t great either. My gpa was a 3.0. I started trying harder in sophomore year, when I first started taking my business and marketing classes. Then the pandemic happened and obviously my school went online. I got a 4.0 gpa last semester, which only brought my cumulative gpa up to 3.2, but I can still possibly graduate with honors if I keep getting mostly As. Since my grades got better since covid started, and if the rest of my degree is taken virtually(hopefully not), will jobs still hire me or will they say “you only got good grades because of virtual classes”? By the way my college usually does help with internships, but there’s been a lot of uncertainty with them right now, so I’m having trouble getting one. I’m part of the marketing club and they all seem to like me, including the marketing staff and my professors that visit sometimes.
