UK versus USA masters?

I know the question might not make alot of sense but I need to decide which is better for doing a Masters degree in Finance or Operational research?UK or USA?I have heard job prospectus after graduating are better in the US but it takes almost two years to graduate there whereas UK is only one year. Also with this global slowdown, wouldn't jobs not be available anywhere considering i'm an international students at both countries and wanting to something in Finance( just my luck!!!). Please help me out here. Considering applying in 2009 and graduating by 2010 or 2011-hopefully the global economy would have recovered by then.
