Does anyone know anything about the Theatre Dept. at William & Mary? Does talent help one gain admission to the school?

it's fairly small, but they do really good work. Great productions. Talent in many things will help you get in, I doubt theater would be any different.

I believe they host the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.

The department has somewhat of an emphasis on traditional works. Not a whole lot of groundbreaking progressivism in terms of student work or avant garde productions, but they enjoy a nice reputation.

The facilities are nice. They have one mainstage theater with about 750 seats, and a studio theater with 109 seats. I think it's 4 department-sponsored productions per year, plus 6-8 student directed shows.
